Lieutenant General (retd) Muhammad Masood Aslam NI,HI(M), SJ

Chief Executive Officer

Lieutenant-General Muhammad Masood Aslam, HI, HI(M), SJ,AFWC, PSC, is one of the most battle hardened, decorated and respected retired three-star rank general officer of Pakistan Army. Apart from his military service he has served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Mexico from June 2011 to 2013. His last assignment in military was as the principal commander of the XI Corps and commanded the unified chain of command fighting the pro-Tehrik-e-Taliban forces in the North-West Pakistan from 2007 to 2010. Serving as the field operational commander of the unified forces, General Masood directed and oversaw the major operations against the militants, including First Battle of Swat, operations Zalzala, Sherdil, Rah-e-Rast and the Rah-e-Nijat. The first of successful counter insurgency operations anywhere in the world. For his services he was awarded the civilian medal of Hilal-i-Imtiaz after retirement for his achievements in bringing peace to the northwestern Pakistan. Apart from his military career he has also been Pakistan’s ambassador to Mexico from 2010 to 2013.
He is an ardent and sought for speaker and has participated in many international initiatives and talks across the globe.

A decisive, driven and inspirational leader with a proven track record in delivering results across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. A security and defense specialist having elite command, leadership, operational planning, intelligence, instructional and management roles, apart from three and half years of senior diplomatic experience at Pakistan High Commission London. Has had vast experience of joint Ops, including tours at United Nations and ISA. Considered a subject matter expert in strategic planning, operations, intelligence and National Security Decision Making (NSDM). Intelligence expertise ranges from counter terrorism issues to national and international strategic level challenges. Has been actively involved in backdoor diplomacy and relation building across Europe and Asia. Presently providing strategic advisory to clients ranging from security to diplomacy and from business innovations to bridging private to public sectors.
Kamal Alam
Director Analysis
Kamal Alam is a visiting fellow at the Royal United Services Institution, London. He specialises in contemporary military history of the Arab world and Pakistan, he is a Fellow for Syrian Affairs at The Institute for Statecraft, and is a visiting lecturer at several military staff colleges across the Middle East, Pakistan and the UK.

  • Guinness World Record holder for climbing the highest peak on every continent (the Seven Summits), in 295 days.
  • First woman to complete the Explorers Grand Slam (Seven Summits plus skiing the last degree to the North and South Poles) in 11 months, and only the 8th woman in the world to do so.

Amir Ghauri

Aamir Ghauri is currently the Editor of The News International, Islamabad – Pakistan’s most-circulated English language daily newspaper. He is also the Founder & Director of the London-based South Asia Future Forum (SAFF). Previously, he has worked with Pakistan’s ARY News as Political Editor and Programme Host from December 2011 to December 2016. A journalist for 30 years, Ghauri has headed Pakistani news media’s leading organizations including Dunya TV, Geo TV’s European news operations and ARY News. He has also reported for the BBC Asian Network. Ghauri graduated from London University’s School of Oriental and African Studies with an MSc in International Politics of Near & Middle East and Modern South Asia. He briefly practiced law before switching to journalism. He has regularly commented on international news networks including the BBC, CNN, Sky, Aljazeera English and Press TV. In 2006, he authored A Divine Destruction – a visual commentary of the Kashmir earthquake that killed over 80,000 people in Kashmir and Pakistan.

Dr Saima is an distinguished educationist who has a PhD in linguistics. She is an allumini of Cambridge University UK, from where she did her M.Phil and research for her decorate. She is also a common wealth scholar and presently teaching as an Assistant professor at National University of Modern Languages apart from being a consultant and examiner for Cambridge University, British Council and Australian Education Office. She has vast international experience of working as a consultant in the field of education and language testing with international bodies and organisation. She leads our client engagement team and advisory on education and strategy. She is also member of the young diplomats club in London and has been an active organiser and participant of multi cultural and multi ethical activities.
